Sunnyside Daycare in Pierrefonds is happy to announce the launch of our new blog! The blog will be updated regularly with kid-tested recipes, activity ideas, educational topics, and more! We will also use it to share special events, workshops, and other happenings in and around Pierrefonds and the West Island of Montreal.
About Sunnyside Daycare
Sunnyside Daycare is a bright, clean, and beautiful daycare located in Pierrefonds, on the West Island of Montreal. It was acquired in July 2014 by a passionate and loving mother-daughter team that is excited to bring fresh, new ideas to the daycare. With updates to the menu and a refreshed educational program, the pair have created an amazing environment perfect for the early-learning needs of the children!
We offer a child-centered curriculum, based on the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia. Children are encouraged to learn through hands-on experiences as they explore the world around them at their own pace. Our developmentally appropriate program provides a balance of structured activities and indoor/outdoor free play and allows children the opportunity to develop individuality, creativity, and self-esteem.
Working in partnership with families to help children grow, we foster an inclusive environment with an open-door communication policy. Meals are prepared daily by our on-site chef and adhere to the standards set in the Canadian Food Guide.
Changes for 2015
We will welcome in the New Year with some exciting changes! We will have Dance and Art specialists teaching classes for the children. We will also be opening earlier in the morning as of January 5th, 2015; our new hours will be 6:30AM to 6:00PM
